CLP has assisted Å Energi AS in the acquisition of remaining 49% stake in Fredrikstad Energi AS

CLP has assisted Å Energi AS in the acquisition of 49% of the shares of Fredrikstad Energi AS from Hafslund.Å Energi AS already owns 51 % of the shares in the company.
Fredrikstad Energi AS owns the grid company Norgesnett, which operates electricity networks serving over 100,000 customers, and Nettpartner, one of the country's largest contractors in electrical infrastructure. Å Energi already owns Glitre Nett, Norway's second-largest grid company. The subsidiaries Glitre Nett and Norgesnett are planned to be merged by the end of 2025. By combining Glitre Nett and Norgesnett, two of Norway's leading grid companies are brought together, and with a total of over 420,000 grid customers, Å Energi gains an expanded responsibility for developing the electricity grid, supporting business and industry, and securing critical infrastructure across large parts of Southern Norway.
