CLP has assisted Viking Growth with the closing of a new continuation fund for Talentech

Viking Growth has successfully closed a single-asset continuation fund, Viking Growth Continuation Fund I AB, to support the continued growth of Talentech, the leading Nordic all-in-one recruitment and HR software platform – formed in January 2026 through the merger of Grade and Talentech. The continuation fund closed with total commitments of approximately EUR 160 million, with specialist secondaries manager Hollyport Capital as sole lead investor alongside several other European investors.
The transaction enables Viking Growth to extend its partnership with Talentech and its management team, while providing additional capital to support the Company in its next phase of growth – including further buy-and-build consolidation in the Nordic HR market and continued investment in product development and AI-led innovation.
Erik Fjellvær Hagen, Managing Partner at Viking Growth, says in the press release: "Establishing the Continuation Fund is a major step for Viking Growth. It provides substantial liquidity to our existing investors while allowing us to remain invested in Talentech, which is one of the strongest software platforms we have built."
CLP has proudly supported Viking Growth as legal counsel throughout this journey, from the original merger of Grade and Talentech to the closing of this continuation fund, and we look forward to continuing to support Viking Growth and Talentech going forward.
CLP's team for this transaction included Alexander Sandberg Lund, Amund Berthelsen Erdal, Trine Waag Kanestrøm, Jeanette Brokerud and Ingrid Øen Carlsen.
