The Norwegian Transparency Act

CLP is committed to supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals, promoting human rights, and conducting business responsibly in line with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. A key element for achieving this is our work related to the Transparency Act.

The purpose of the Transparency Act is to encourage businesses to respect fundamental human rights and maintain decent working conditions, as well as ensuring that relevant information is accessible to the public.

The Norwegian Transperency Act

We actively work to promote fundamental human rights and decent working conditions and share our assessments and measures openly. As part of our commitment, we conduct thorough due diligence assessments to identify and manage potential risks associated with our operations. We evaluate both our internal conditions and those of our suppliers and business partners, adopting a proactive approach that takes responsibility for our impact on society and considers our entire supply chain. To facilitate this, we have implemented a set of ethical guidelines (Code of Conduct) which we ask our key suppliers and business partners to commit to. Internally, we regularly evaluate and improve our guidelines and processes, including our ethical guidelines, whistleblower procedures, and measures to promote equality and diversity within our organisation.

We have prepared a statement that provides an overview of our due diligence assessment, detailing identified risks and the measures we undertake to address them. You can download the statement below.
