Finansavisen/Kapital has presented the yearly ranking of lawyers in Norway today, and CLP is happy to receive the following rankings for 2025

  • CLP has once again been ranked as no. 1 in the trade and industry category—for the sixth consecutive year! Additionally, our partner Kjetil Vågen has been individually ranked as no. 1 in the same category for the ninth year in a row. Vågen represents a wide range of Norwegian, Nordic, and international chains across various service and product sectors and holds a strong position within retail. He is joined by our partner Hans Jørgen Langeland, who is ranked as no. 4. Langeland has extensive experience with trade law structures, including franchise, joint ventures, supply, distribution, and agency agreements. With these recognitions, CLP continues to solidify its long-standing top tier position in the trade and industry category.
  • Partner Håvard R. Skogvoll is ranked no. 4 in the real estate category, further highlighting CLP’s strong position in this field. Skogvoll primarily focuses on real estate transactions, financing, operations, and development.
  • Rolf W. Markussen, one of Norway's leading construction and real estate lawyers, is ranked no. 10 in the construction category. Markussen and his team have been involved in several of Norway’s largest and most complex construction projects, either as advisers or as counsel in dispute matters.
  • Partner Andreas Kildal is ranked as no. 9 in the issuances and IPOs category. Kildal has been advising Norwegian and international companies for several years on mergers and acquisitions, sales, and restructurings of listed and unlisted companies. He also advises on listed securities trading, as well as stock-exchange introductions, equity issues and establishing new businesses.
  • Amund Berthelsen Erdal is ranked as no. 10 in the renewable energy and climate category. Amund focuses on renewable energy and assists in acquisitions and mergers within the renewable sector and matters relating to energy law, water resources law and concessions.
  • Partner Bodil Høstmælingen is ranked as Norway's no. 3 up-and-coming talent in the dispute resolution category.
