CLP welcomes Espen Furuholt and Ståle Meleng as new partners
We are delighted to announce that Espen Furuholt and Ståle Meleng are joining CLP as partners. Ståle Meleng joined CLP on 1 September, and Espen Furuholt will join on 15 September.
Ståle Meleng is one of Norway’s leading real estate lawyers, with real estate development as his principal area of practice. He will join CLP’s Real Estate team. Ståle has more than 25 years of experience from Wiersholm and BAHR, including the past 12 years as a partner at Wiersholm. He has particular expertise in real estate development and projects, real estate transactions, leasing and property management, as well as disputes and construction law.
CLP’s Real Estate team provides a broad range of legal services to clients in the real estate and construction sectors, including development projects from site acquisition through to completion, real estate transactions, construction law advice and dispute resolution.
Espen Furuholt is a highly sought-after M&A lawyer and will join CLP’s Corporate team. Espen has been a partner in Sands’ Corporate department since 2019, following ten years of M&A experience at Wikborg Rein. He is among the most active M&A lawyers in Norway, having led more than 50 transactions over the past 18 months.
Espen principally advises financial and industrial clients on private M&A transactions across a range of sectors. His arrival will further strengthen CLP’s Corporate team and its position as one of Norway’s leading M&A practices.
